Pentomino puzzle

The Rules

Divide the squares of the puzzle (white squares only) into a number of pieces. Each piece must contain at least one letter. It must be possible to place each pentomino in exactly one position such that:

  • it is entirely within one of the pieces, and
  • it contains the letter corresponding to itself.

(And if you don't remember off the top of your head which pentomino corresponds to which letter, Wikipedia's pentomino page may help.)

This was inspired by [info]zotmeister's polyominous puzzles.

This is a very clever little exercise. I had to develop some interesting tactics to figure it out, and despite an oversight slowing me down a bit I found the difficulty to be just right for a well-balanced challenge. It was tricky in a couple of spots, but never unfair; I found it solvable with no guessing required. I should think I should be the one inspired by this. - ZM
